We are using Intensive Pulse Light (IPL) for most of our procedures​ such as Permanent Hair Reduction, Rejuvenation, Pigmentation Treatment, Acne Management and Vascular Treatments. The IPL machine we use is made in Germany and distributed in Australia and Europe, it is also approved by Australian Department of Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

 

IPL is a type of intensive broadband and incoherent light with a wavelengh spectrum of 420nm - 1200nm which does not affect DNA and safe to improve many skin conditions. IPL has a wide range of non-invasive applications based on the human skin's selective absorption and photothermolysis of light sources.

 

IPL uses a much broader spectrum of light than laser, it is suitable for a wider range of application, hair colours and skin types. Furthermore, IPL treats a much larger area of skin per light pulse then laser, which makes the treatment much faster and more cost effective than laser hair removal.

IPL machine treatments offer a whole range of benefits compared to alternative therapies such as waxing for the removal of unwanted hair. The pulses of light produced by our machine are very short in duration, resulting in minimal discomfort or reaction to surrounding and non-targeted tissue. This makes for relatively non-disruptive IPL machine treatments and fast recovery, or minimal "down time", making it a popular, non-invasive alternative to more painful forms of therapy. But be careful when choosing the IPL treatments, not all machines are as good and resultative, and not all of them are approved by Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration Department.
